My parents grew up in Australia and came to work in England, so I was brought up in England. I have dual citizenship. My accent is a bit odd as a result, it's subtle so people don't place it very often, but when I mention that my parents are Australian they're always like, 'Oh, right, now I get it!' And when I've spent a little time in Australia I always slip into a much stronger accent. Partly subconsciously and partly because otherwise my cousins call me pommy girl.
