today was an exciting day. very exciting.
so this afternoon i went and got pizza by myself, which wasn't that exciting.
then, in the evening, a very large group of us went to prater, which is an amusement park on the edge of vienna. it was super exciting.
so, one of the main reasons we went there was because there was a bungee jumping thing. amber and alex had decided that they were going to do a tandem jump, so as soon as we got there we headed for the bungee thing. it was really exciting to watch them jump because there was a camera at the top so we could see their faces and stuff. yeah.
then some people went on a really scary looking ride that i decided not to go on, but they had fun.
after that we went on some rollercoasters. first we went on one that was pretty basic and reminded me of the roller coaster at seattle center. then we went on one called 'boomerang' which was really exciting. we went forwards and backwards and into this really scary tube where lights flashed and popped at you. also, we went upside down twice, well actually four times (backwards and forwards each time).
after that we saw the saddest thing in the world. you see, they had a carousel thing that had real horses. it was so depressing watching these horses walk around this stupid circle, not being able to move around freely. argh.
after that we tried to ride the bumper cars but the bumper cars were evil. you see, there were no lines for them so basically when they stop everyone makes a mad dash for the cars. we weren't able to get cars and each round was super long so we decided to leave.
after that depressingness we decided to go on this really cool roller coaster called dizzy mouse. you see, we were in these round cars that had mouse faces. the track was really windy and at (almost) every turn the car would start to spin. near the end our car went into a cat's mouth. it was the most exciting ride in the world. well, not really, but it was super fun.
after that amber, charli, charli's boyfriend aaron, and i went on this ride called 'sombrero'. it basically consisted of 5 or so sombreros that spun around and lifted up and spun and stuff. anyway, we were the only people on the ride and, when we went to buy our tickets the guy was asking us our names and where we were from and stuff. we didn't think anything of this until the ride started and, over the loudspeaker, the ride man said 'welcome merak, amber, charli, and aj (because that's what aaron said his name was) from seattle.' he kept saying our names throughout the ride, like when he was asking us if we wanted to go faster. it was really exciting.
after that, everybody except charli, aaron, and me left and the three of us went through a fun house thing. it was exciting except that charli fell down (she was fine) and i had an incident on a slide where my shoes basically got stuck and i got turned around and stuff. i almost fell off the end of the slide, but i was fine.
after that we left and the three of us went to mcdonald's and then came back and then i talked to my parents on the phone. and that is basically my exciting day.
