This past weekend was the first we had free all summer. I took the opportunity to clean my studio and go through the piles of drawings that have accumulated in the past two years. Actually, I only have one talent ... that is the ability to fake many talents.

*blush* I am embarrassed to tell you. $15/hr. A couple of us have been telling the coordinators of the group that it really is time to increase the model fee to at least $25/hr [$50 a night of a 2 hr session], but they are ... frugal [aka cheap tightwads]. Honestly the models we get do it more for the group than for the money, or they want the experience to then go to art schools with something on thier resume [or cv, for those non-US residents].

Of course these are AMERICAN dollars, which in today's market is worth ...

I tried drawing on a cave once, but contrary to common perceptions and Geico commercials it was NOT so easy.

I'll friend you back, if I may be so presumptuous as to use a noun as a verb.
