The day the injunction fell

I'm so sad, I'm tearful and full of rage. It's been a terrible, crazy day, and this is how it's going to be now. That's the part I can't get my head around. Before, we've had a doctor be ill now and then and had to reschedule everybody. On 9/11 we were asked to shut down by the mayor's office, and that sucked for the women, too ( Read more... )

I am crying after reading your post...thanks for keeping up the fight...I so appreciate you. I was once a teenager who had to tell cuz I needed a 2nd tri AB.(tho It was hard, my circumstnces rocked compared to your example)I would like to send some token of support...what would be a nice thing for your office?

Also can I post a link to this in my journal...I'd like my friends to read it and to email it around to the CLE folks.

Thanks so so much for your comment, I needed a little support break in the middle of the day and it helped me feel less alone. Thanks for being a righteous voice in the world, yourself.

I was very charmed and touched by the token idea, I think that would be so great. Some ideas, I guess -- food and flowers are always appreciated, or a keep-your-head-up go-women encouragement-type poster (someone suggested Syracuse Cultural Workers for this type of thing...northern sun merchandising...one of those lefty places...we have a few hanging around so you might want to check back), or we've been setting down a little ceramic goddess figure that Jamie got a michfest in different places around the clinic for luck and blessings, something like that maybe, or your wicked imagination.

of course, please post this wherever, thanks for asking. i appreciate you back.

Thanks, K. No, women walked in yesterday and we said "unfortunately, you can't have an abortion today as planned because ohio law has changed..." so much crying and yelling, lots of folks extremely justifiably extremely upset.
