X3

Apparently I forgot to mention it in one of my ealier posts. Since you've all seen it, I don't need to go over the details. Nightcrawler's actor didn't want to be in the new film, and Nightcrawler probably survived as a result. I REALLY hated Magneto abandoning Mystique, that really sucked... And yeah, Juggernaut wasn't a mutant. His 'downfall' sucked. I agree with you on all points.

Mystique is also Nightcrawler's mother, but we didn't see that in X2. There are just some things they decided to adapt differently for the films, I guess. ^_^

I've heard a lot of talk that Magneto is one of Marvel's greatest and most powerful, memorable villains. I really can't speak for exactly the way he is in the comics, but I think what he did in X3, though kind of despicable, did reinforce the fact that hey, he's the villain. He's going to be villainous. The way the FILM ousted Mystique did kind of suck, though. XD

There's my two cents on it. ^^

LOL I'm not sure if it was because I was playing Mystique that night, or I had just come to respect the film version of the character so much, but I felt really really betrayed by what happened to her in every aspect. I didn't even clap at the end of the film like everyone else (although if I remember correctly either Anthony or you didn't either... Prolly Anthony)

You are remembering Anthony. I, in fact, clapped most heartily. XD
