Well, I just didn't want to do the wrong thing and end up droned. I have important work to attend to, and being a drone would make that inconvenient.

I highly doubt they would drone you for doing the wrong thing with your leaves. Honestly, I'm a little surprised they don't rake themselves.

I've seen and worn many types of armor, but nothing so protective. Or large! And you make it look effortless!

Well, it is bonded to my physiology by the Black Carapace. It functions as part of my body. As for the protection, well, it is Ceramite, I would expect nothing less than the best protection from that.

The raven's perched in a tree somewhat nearby; busy preening. Preening was a very important business, didn't you know. She's even got all three legs out to balance herself as she contorts around to get at the feathers on the ends of her wings, and her eyes are red.

That was her complaint, in fact. She isn't learning anything, and wanted to meet someone who could teach her something. As for the questions... she is curious about vampires, though I don't know why.
