Maya 8 is seriously impressing me right now. I know they have a billion options, but because got interested in doing 3D scenery, I looked up some tutorials to no avail. They were all out of date and referenced options that don't exist anymore. Well, figuring it couldn't hurt, I went nosing through the Fur options

I was using it just the other day, but since I've only used... I think it was Lightwave, about four years ago, I had no idea what I was doing.

I saw the fur effects and stuff, and wanted to try them but I was in a class and had to follow instruction. Because the one other time I started messing around by myself, I screwed everything up something awful.

But it all looks so neat!
