Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. That totally blows. I totally agree with you and think you should start making some call backs, beeyotch. Anyway, I hope it all works out for ya. Wish I could do some of the reading for you, however, i cannot. Keep on truckin!

you can write my essays if you really wanted :D

hehe...actually, my essays are fine. its more getting my art assignments done and done well that stresses me out. and finding time for clean laundry. sheesh. next time I move, there best be in-house laundry.

My 0.02cents:

Keep your school work as a priority, and schedule with yourself a couple of hours here and there for job hunting.

Send quick thank you notes to any managers you spoke to at places you think you'd like working and forget the other places.

Bite your tongue a little bit longer until something that feels right falls into your lap.

and have faith... there is a better serving job out there for you.

i know i know...it's all good advice. i guess i'm not being as truthful about my laziness to do it all as I should be. i mean, i was miserable at fran's all summer long, but because i wanted to not job-hop so much, i had only intended to leave when I graduated next year.

problem too is that most of the places I went to want to hire for fulltime only, with a minimum of four days a week (like this really cool vodka bar i applied at). the MOST i can work is three days, and preferably if i leave fran's i want to work somewhere where I can get by on two days. Like at a busy pub or something.

blaf;akdfsf.

i can't wait til its not a serving job i'm looking for but something I actually want to do. i hope a job exists for visual arts/women's studies graduates...eek.
