Kicking around ideas for the cover of the upcoming collected "Cragmore" graphic novel. To my eye, this one doesn't say "wacky adventure" enough, and it's also too similar to a Tim Biskup painting I saw online for my tastes. Maybe I'll use it for a print or postcard or something else though!

Whew! I'm back in town for a while now, after three conventions pretty much back-to-back. MoCCA, SPACE, and TCAF were all excellent experiences. I sold some comics and made a ton of new friends, which is pretty much all I want out of life. I'm hoping to finish CRAGMORE up over the summer, and hopefully I'll have a preview of the entire book ( Read more... )

Free Comic Book Day is this Saturday, May 1, and as usual, I contributed to the Wide Awake Press FCBD spectacular. This year, it's an anthology of medieval-themed comics, it's called "JABBERWACKY" and it promises to be fantastic. You can download it for free on May 1, but until then, here's a preview:
