Help, movie buffs!

The husband is in a sort of contest and needs to figure out what movies these images come from. Any ideas? Some folk have said they thought the shoes were from Arlington Road. Does that ring any bells? Any ideas about the glass and the scissors? Any help would be much appreciated!

The one with the glass is "Payback?" Man, that one was a toughie. I had no idea...of course, I've never seen Payback so that probably made it even tougher.

The first certainly could be Arlington Road, as the movie starts with a kid walking down the street with his hand blown apart from a firecracker. I see blood drops on the shoes, so I could say that it is a strong possibility.

Thanks, Ryan. That really helps. Neither Steve nor I had seen the movie and just from watching the preview and reading about it, we couldn't figure out what a kid might have to do with it. But now I see the blood on the shoe, too, so that makes a lot of sense.
