RIVER. aka. OH MY GOD.
WOW. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that episode. Thoughts:
I'm actually not as annoyed about the cliffhanger as I thought I'd be. At least we know who River is yeah? Although I really don't think that'll be a positive thing come September, once we've had 3 months to think through all the implications this means. Like the Doctor making out with her mum??? That'll be so screwed up when it comes out.
But I was still squeeing for a good hour+ when I saw the River/Melody bit. WOW. I love that twist. Which I didn't see coming. Not at all. And now everyone is going "I saw it!" And I'm feeling dumb for not having seen or thought of it. But now I'm seeing all these little parts and quirks to how River acted to Rory and Amy before that I hadn't seen before. And they're all adorable, espicially this one part in The Day of The Moon when River goes to Rory "Don't tell my Old Man' and THAT'S HIM, and when she said it you can see this little smile that she had. And it's all just so OMG AWESOME. FLAILING.
Also, Rory was pretty awesome in this episode.
I loved the scene where he's holding her for the first time and it's so adorable and wonderful and I didn't want him to die, not even a little bit.
