I've seen some reviews too, at first it was 50 / 50, but now it's more like 70 / 30, but still, people are pretty strongly sided... I read one critic saying this is one of the best films he's ever seen... XD So it seems to be either 'like or hate'
I'm sure I'd like it, I'm just veery lazy when it comes to watching movies... -w- *has to be physically taken from home to see movies*
Oh my god, the negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are cracking me up so much. One guy, haha . . . wait a minute, I have to find this quote for you. It's awesome.
Ok, here it is.
Imagine someone pouring hot, melted Starburst candies into your corneas, and you just begin to approximate the experience of “Speed Racer,” an ice-cream headache of a movie that just keeps piling on the unnatural colors, the zoom-zoom of cars that speed and leap and drift and flip, and the ADD editing that makes it all but impossible to follow what little plot there is.
Rofl, seriously? This guy must be about as fun as smacking yourself with a rock.
Interesting fact: Filming for The Incredible Hulk ticked me off because they were filming in Hamilton, Ontario and it literally shut down the street my school is on (because my school is in downtown Hamilton) lol. I wasn't too happy. :P
Ewww, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll think of you cursing and shaking your fists now when I see the movie, lol. I've only had to experience that sort of thing once, and I was so young that I didn't mind it. Isn't it strange that a movie production crew can shut down an entire city if they want to and most people see it as an honor?
It was only for a few days, really, so I wasn't -too- upset. After the first day, it was kind of like "Okay, so... am I going to see someone famous today??" lol. The only reason I was upset was because I had no prior warning.
Over the last couple of weeks it's been something along the lines of "Let's find Marky Mark!" because Mark Wahlberg was here filming Max Paine. :D Sadly, we could not find him, lol.
