I love glass. I don't want it to be something I have to do to make money. I enjoy it, for now, as something I do that happens to make money. So. If I could make it on my terms, then yes. But that would be years away, and I'm too new at it to really think about that, I'm still just exploring the art and having fun.
I enjoy my career a lot. The only reason I'd stop fulltime is to have a kid, and doing web design/creation is the more likely candidate for an at-home income. I'd like more time to do glass, overall, but I'm not sure I want it to be my work life. I don't want to make 300 red beads because I have to, for some regular shop order, but because I feel like it. I'm sure asynja, up there right above you, can elaborate on this.

i hear you. sometimes turning a hobby/passion into a counted-on income stream is not the best way to go about things. been there, done that, not any more. : )
