i just wrote to a friend about something like this today! i am attempting to stop trying to change things that i can't. and to stop worrying about everything as much as i do. and to stop making up new things to worry about! i am a bona fide worrywart and it's honestly been hard work NOT to be. my husband helps me everyday. he reminds me often to be "rigidly flexible" when things are changing or not going the way i *think* they should be. and it's slowly seeping in.
each of us is a work in progress...

Thank you so much for something that really resonates with the direction I am hoping to take in my life. I can definitely learn lessons in not making mountains from molehills.
I also appreciate how you can take even little smidgen of adversity (i.e. the DSL going down) and taking the opportunity to do other things that you enjoy (glass, cats, reading, etc.). I used to know many people who would annoyingly pontificate over lack on net access and whine as if nothing else mattered.
I am so lucky and fortunate to have met you.
