It started with my going into the city Friday to see DLJ's office and have dinner. On the way there, Thomas and I text messaged back and forth a little. I don't do text messaging that much, I guess it is where I have become "old." So I messaged him that "I am the schiznit." Yes, he is a good friend and a gentleman! He was the only man other than my Dad and DLJ who requested a dance with the bride at my wedding!

Leaving him and his wife behind were one of the hardest things about moving to Portland for me, I'm sure you know how hard it is to leave someone who carries around so much of you that you've poured out over time, and vice versa.

I still haven't called back. Must do so tonight, thanks for reminder.
