I just went to a very fun party, by myself. DLJ and I today ripped out heather plants, picked up a pickup truck, went into Portland and picked up our two rainbarrels, pushed the stinky, cat-ified couch and lots of wood and yard debris into the back, went to the dump, unloaded everything came back, received a huge load of horseshit and hopefully

i was going to take pix in our garden, but 1) it was a grey day, and 2) ...our lovely cocoa mulch is MOLDING, in spite of us not having watered the yard in at least a week. so, what *should* be nice and dark brown and a good accent to the garden is now a grey pit full of spores that spray into the air in clouds when i rake through it. bleh! i'm hoping the sun will dry it out and that it will return to its cocoa loveliness, but i'm not sure it will recover. : /

I am new to livejournal and the internet, it rather pathetically took us a year and a half to realize that we had two faulty routers in row (what are the chances).
