At least I'm glad to know that meetings are a problem other places too. We use Lotus and my system has some sort of data corruption where I can't reschedule a meeting and add comments at the same time. So, I always end up sending a minimum of 3 updates to each instrance of a standing meeting. It gets very confusing.

I am going to stop rescheduling when a conflict comes up because even though I am in a department of engineers and the meeting has been repeating on Friday for three of four weeks, I still get people walking by my office on Thursday asking ' are we meeting today?' At least, I know they care about the meeting.
