I spent this weekend buying things and creating playlists, as well as cutting out little paper trees to put in my journal. I got the Juno soundtrack, which I really like, and two books of photography. I want to hurry up and finish all the playlists I've started making, but I need to buy the CD cases so I can decorate covers for them.

13. the great gadsby by f scott fitzgerald

*gatsby. I wouldn't say anything if it wasn't essential for googling purposes ;)

thats an AMAZING book, btw.
I also really liked The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, and I loved Antigone by Sophocles...all of Shakesphere's works are lovely, and I would say the same for most of the poetry of william blake.

I knew I misspelled something in this list. Thank you!

Ahh! I forgot to include Ernest in my list, along with Jack Kerouac, who I've sadly never read before. Thank you for the suggestions, they sound good :)

Thank you! I guess I'd have to say I cheated, though. I used an x-acto knife to cut out everything.

Thank you for the book suggestions! The Time Traveler's Wife is a book I've been hearing about but never got around to reading, so thank you for reminding me! I'll put your suggestions on the list :)

And sigggh, I just recently crossed paths with an old, yellow copy of The Sun Also Rises, which I had always, of course, been meeeeaning to read, so I finally did, and I'm halfway through it, and it is perfect, so I think you should probably move it closer to the top of the list. That is all.

The list is in no chronological order - but I probably will read that one soon because I've wanted to read Hemingway for the longest time, and I never knew where to start. Thank you for your suggestions, too! I'll add them to the list :)

Really? That's a good sign - means that they have relevance and that they must be good because you've got good taste (from what I can tell from your journal).

I'll add your recommendation to the list, thank you!
