It finally happened! I got to paint a pregga belly! WOOHOOOOOO! And it was so fun, and I just loved watching bubba interact with the paintbrush. Today was the 2nd time and baby was much more enthusiastic about it all, rocking and rolling around. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished professional photos :)
But for now folks
I've had this design stuck in my head for a VERY, very long time. So I'm so happy to finally have it down on a belly. I could also add silhoutte dolphins in the water. My trees aren't as good as they could be, but it's all a learning curve that I'm ecstatic to have had the opportunity to learn.
She doesn't know what she is having so she liked the idea of a question mark. We did it just with the question mark first, then I added bits cause I just can't help myself and I like to add stuff on rather than keep it simplistic heh. She is a photographer and we took photos with her spiffy camera and she's going to do them all up and do the question mark one in black and white so it'll be nice to see the finished product. These are all just ones I took with my camera.
This actually looks kinda good as is, but it was only the start of my ultimate design.
And this was the finished product! :) I love it, regardless of how black it is. I felt kinda bad putting all that black on her though as I was doing it and I probably will never do all that black again, but that is something I would have loved on me if I was pregga so I'm glad I got to do it. Next time I'm thinking the base will be in red, orange, sea green and turquoise, and the different colours closer together in stripes or still in the circular pattern not sure, then I'll use purple to cover it all up instead of black. Either way I think it's a beautiful design :)
It was a great experience and I'm really looking forward to earning money out of this. I hope there are plenty of pregnant ladies out there looking for a bit of something different and like my designs :D What do you think? I wanna do more! :D :D
