I really loathe night shift. I guess on the plus side it makes me really appreciate NOT being a single parent. I don't know how single parents do it with more than 2 kids, seriously. At any rate, I know a bit of how you feel. The Weasley has had a series of big projects this past year, and it's... interesting. I suppose I knew that when we moved for this job it'd be more intense than the last one, but I don't think I'd quite expected this. I asked him to start going to work earlier, which means we don't see him in the mornings, because we were going 2-3 weeks at a time where he just wasn't able to come home before the kids were in bed, and some nights he'd come home after my bed time too. Fortunately that particular project finished up, but even this last week I've had the kids bathed and ready for bed before he's come home. I suppose I technically see more of him now that I'm not the one working until 6, 7, 8, 9pm, but it's harder now that the shoe is on the other foot.
