heh. James... I used to have TONS of friends I saw every day and loved hanging out with them. You might know them as the rhetoric group. =)
Before that, I was part of the Legacy group. Now I'm back there, but it's been so long since I was there that no one remembers me, and all my friends have gone to running start.
The other co-op I go to is full of skinny, preppy girls and people in the "in" crowd who already have their cliques put together.

...in other words, I TOTALLY know how you feel about not being a part of anything. I don't even have a church youth group!

Just hang in there. I'm betting college will be a TON better. and I can't wait ^_^ love ya.

Yea your co-op is how my Youth Group is. it's like Public school. except its at Church.

I have to agree with Arielle. James, just wait for collage. That's where you make all your life-long friends.

because james couldn't possibly be life long friends with tim or alex or sam or tyler.

this might come as a complete shock but adults do not 'hang out' with their friends continually (or i would be at james' or tim's house all the time)

friends are like a spice, or dessert, not meat and potatoes and vegetables. That's God and your family.

but who doesn't, at least occasionally, want to live in the candy store?

HAH...so I absolutely love the analogy.

Anywyas, James...I am doing running start right now and although I have done public school all my life, it is the best thing i could have ever done. You have so much freedom to be who you are...and to be treated like an adult at the same time. plus you have lots more choices. Myself and two of my friends do both running start and choirs at TJ and we all agree that college is WAAAAAAAAAY better then highschools. We complain about highschools all the time, quite fun actually. But yeah...don't know how that helps...or not....but yeah...:-D

As someone who was homeschooled through 9th grade and then convinced her parents to let her go to public school, I think I've got a lot to say on this subject... I'll try not to bore you ( ... )

Anytime, James :) I may be younger than you and probably a foot shorter or something...but...ok, nevermind, that thought ends there. Scary how long it's been since I've seen you Kemps! Wait a minute, are your little brothers taller than me??? (For the record, I'm 5'2"...)

Wow, just think of all the problems you DON'T have to face not being public-schooled. Like schedule stuff with what you're taking and NOT GETTING TO TAKE ALL THE CLASSES YOU WANT! (just ain't enough time in the day...I could skip lunch like Marija and Bobby, but that might be a little too crazy.) Or who you're going to ask to the next dance. It's all so complicated.

oh yes and James used the word of the day, even if it was 5 days late.
