Yeah it's pretty gross, plus it's really hot outside so it's generally unpleasant. And the clouds are gone :( They've sort of spread out and turned into a giant mass of grey fog.
That is pretty intense. When we had the fires near Davis I couldn't actually see any smoke, but when it drifted to us everything was orange a la Apocalypse Now.
Do they give out warnings like don't go outside and whatnot?
You can't see the giant clouds anymore today. It's all sort of spread out and turned into grey and dense fog over the city and the hills. The first couple days sunrise was orange and apocalyptic here too.
Anyway, they do repeatedly say on various news programs to stay indoors as much as possible. Cousin's school was supposed to start on Monday but they canceled the classes (there's a state of emergency in LA county and the air is considered toxic, especially for children). Schools still haven't opened but they probably will before the week ends.
