I could not say it better! What an asinine assumption that we Yankees don't realize what the mercenaries are in New York for. They come to win. We want them to win, so we tolerate their presence as best we can. Some are easier than others. (Clemens, for me, was impossible to tolerate.)

Bad memories abound with RJ. The 2001 World Series is filled with memories of his pitching squandering Yankee hopes. But now we get to look forward to those memories becoming part of a Yankee championship.

Yeah, I think we know why he's now a Yankee. I think we don't care whether or not he loves New York at all. All we care about is that he still is a winner.

I wish I could write rebuttles as well as you and Cap'n Karen. I'm sure glad the crew has you two.
