Owled Charlie Weasley yesterday to let him know that Albus has graciously set aside rooms in the West Tower for the two delegates from Romania. He replied this morning to say that he greatly appreciated our hospitality, as he would be one of them.
This came as a surprise, to say the least.
It's of course very good of him to come all this way just to help me with this lesson. Certainly it's a boon to the students, to have a bona fide dragon-expert at their disposal; there'll be no excuses for anyone to fail the Dragon Assessment Test (DAT) segment of their N.E.W.T.S., now.
And, of course, both Ron and Ginny will be quite excited to see their brother again.
In other news, today as I was walking from my classroom to the Hall for lunch, I passed six Hufflepuff in all-weather gear, a very grumpy-looking Ron Weasley muttering about gardening equipment, and Terry Boot clad all in black, somehow attached to the railing of the third-floor staircase, with what looked like a rather sizeable manifesto stuffed into his trousers.
Methinks the house-elves have been tampering with the school water supply, again.
Perhaps I'll see if Sirius wants to go up into Hogsmeade tonight for a game of billiards at Faintly Macabre's. He's having some recovery-induced ennui (though he's loathe to admit it), and suddenly I feel quite restless. Perhaps kicking Sirius's arse at pool will help. Usually does.
Also, I feel like shopping.
