Eh, I don't smoke weed or anything else illegal, but I still don't understand what the big deal is with people who do. Though I largely don't care much either way, as it's really not something that affects me personally.

The machinegun thing confuses me, though. Why is it legal to own one manufactured before 1986, and not after? Last I checked, the old ones are still pretty dangerous too. There's a nonsensical law if I ever heard one.

I agree for the most part. We already have laws against endangering others by driving or working wile under the influence of drugs or alcohol, so why not allow people to ruin thier own lives on thier own time and make it criminal only at the point it affects someone else
