The POE Cabin fire is out and I'm home :) ! I don't know the status of the other fires but I don't much care at the moment I'm enjoying my midweek weekend. :D

Hey you! I believe that the State pays for CONUS stuff, that is unless you are federally actived.

(don't mind me....I'm an Army brat and date a LTC)

Heh, the state just pays for activations ordered by the governor. Federaly mandated training and activations are paid by the feds (drill/OIF/Katrina etc). :)

Ahh back in the civilized states I see. When I wsa down on the fire in central Idaho a forest service rep showed me a satalite image showing the smoke off the firests in that cluster was making it all the way to the Atlantic last weekend.
