Food for thought

Yesterday was veterans day. Still seems wierd to have a national holiday for me.

Only 2 years during the decade long conflict in Vietnam involved a Draft. The war was begun and end by the boots of volunteers on the ground. Gotta love the misconceptions they have taught my generation in the schools right?

I thought about you yesterday, and wondered if you got to march in a parade or anything.

I road in the back of a new model 5-ton in 06 for a parade in Troy. Tis the only parade I've even been in. To be honest I was was a tad bitter about not getting one at our home towns especialy after the grand send off and war party that Lewiston and the Nez Perce gave us.

*reterns the salute the American way* (with no fancy stomp, and a down turned palm XD)

I've been doing pretty good. Been getting by realy. The weather is beging to turn foul again, most unfun. In other news like the goober I am I re-uped. Other than the fact I can't imagine doing much else the $15,000 lump sum bonus coupled with the $20,000 student loan repayment was too much to just say no to.

You still about on messanger?

The stomps the best! You get a free broken ankle and everything! xD

Aye, still on MSN most of the time... though a bit less the last week or so due to college work, but I'm still on it :)
