I was impressed with the crew. We ran the "Gully of Death" in record time. There is a gully on site with a path at the bottom just large enough for a poorly made wagon (with 2 wood cable spool wheels). We had to move the wagon while archers on the high ground rained hell upon us.
The uphill was hell. We formed a turtleshell of shields and shuffled up. Every NCO and the most experienced crewman were taken out so the newest crewer took charge and got it done.
The second time we ran it was downhill. We instead opted for speed with 2 pulling and 2 pushing the wheels and the rest formed a moving screen of shields. We moved so fast the archers had to run to just stay in range
Apearantly when the last group of fighters ran the scenario they were much less organized, slower, and foolishly tried pushing the cart. I guess their plan was to use the cart for cover, but it is so badly built you almost have to drag it.
