just for the record, i hate people and i think the planet would be better off without Homo sapiens.

but i agree, if the human species has to stick around, then it cant just be about enviornmentalism, it has to take into account more. humans are selfish, and as much as i want it to be about the polar bears, it isn't. it's about humans and it always will be.

and i hope you weren't trying to say ethanol is good...

lol, no. i was giving examples of "green" alternatives that people didnt think through. i think using ethanol is a terrible idea for a variety of reasons.
