An owl swoops in through window and deposits a package without a sound.

Brown paper wrapped and unmarked, inside is a rare book of muggle poetry and a box of chocolates.

A single note falls out. Written on one side is the following:

For what it's worth, Happy Birthday.

Remus opened the package and smiled. She did remember. He picked up the note and his quill and penned this message on the back side.

"Tonks.
Thank you. It mattered. Sorry I have been in such a funk lately. Would you care to come by for drinks? I don't get out much but I would join you at Grimmauld if you wished for a night of poker and drinking.
Remus"

He attached the note to the waiting owl and with an owl treat sent it winging back toward Tonks.

Tonks grinned as she read the wrote and hurriedly penned a reply.

Remus, you are more than welcome.

Drinks and poker at Grimmauld sound great. Let me know on the date and I can get Dung to keep an eye out around here. A break is just what I need.

Remus read the note from Tonks and looked to his calander. He picked up his well worn quill and wrote.

"Tonks how about day after tomorrow. I have some free time in the morning the day after so getting really pissed won't be an issue.
Bring chocolate.
