I do this. I once had a celebrity autobiography -- I think it was Shelley Winters' -- and, not wanting to be seen reading it in public, made a paper cover for it and wrote on it "A Very Deep And Thoughtful Book And Not A Trashy Celebrity Autobiography, No Sir".
