I feel almost unbelievably apathetic. Rather dried out and exhausted, but mostly just dead, I think. It's probably just the beginning of school and the the tide (rather than the ebb, which is exhausting in it's own right), and the number of people sleeping in the infirmary, but I almost feel as if I could sleep myself. It would be so easy

I think everyone is ehxausted in their own way right now. There's a lot of tension in the air over...well, over what's happened. No one new has been brought in for the past few days, though...maybe it's stopped. And, if it's stopped - which shows that it can actually be stopped - then there's got to be a way to get rid of it entirely, right? There has to be. There's got to be something.

I'm sorry that you're feeling badly. You should rest...at least you know you'll wake up.

I don't know if this'll help, because you don't really know me, and I don't really know you, but we'll find a cure. I think we're really close now to working it all out -- Luna solved it, so now we just need to convince people that she's right. Well, I think she's right. So, I know that it probably doesn't help at all, but if we're right, they should wake up really soon.

Yeah, she suggested that it was a strong emotional thing as well as touching someone, so all we had to do was work out what it was. As for why, well, we don't know that. Maybe when they wake up, we can ask them if they know.

If that's what you wish. But you only just got back. Please forgive my apathy, but I can't quite bring myself to any particular effort right now to try and convince you otherwise when you've been avoiding me for weeks.

It's not like that at all! I only didn't want to make you, or anyone else ill, so I kept to meself, and tried not to, you know, until I got over it. Didn't completely avoid you, if you'll remember. Unless...that wasn't even memorable, which I guess I can understand. But then I remembered this magical disease -- what if we'd passed it on to each other, somehow? They keep on saying something about touch, so I was worried that I might've somehow done something since you said you were so tired, that's all, no more no less, make what you will of it.
