I said something sassy to her this weekend, I can't remember what, and she replied, "Your mom."

My mom's wording was always "I brought you into this world, I can take you out."

Related to your entry, though, my sister and I frequently use the "your mom" thing with my mom in the room. That's whether the remark is sassy or a compliment. My mom always reacts accordingly.
