In-Character Information
Name : Nailah, Da Wolf Queen
Game/Series: Fire Emblem
Age & Teaching Position: 137, Physical Education
Living Arrangements: Teacher's Dorm with Rafiel

Personality:
Nailah can be excessively blunt, and will not stop herself from telling someone how idiotic they look if she deems that they do, unafraid of the backlash that this might involved, rolling with the punches if they come. Shes' a fighter, through and thought. She will argue and bicker, but will always somehow keep a cool head about it. As if her title allows her to be above you. No wait, scratch that. She IS above you. An air of pride just seems to seep around her and envelope those near. Sometimes she comes out as just cruel, such as when she calls Volug, her trusted retainer a mutt and a dog. She means well, really, but perhaps maybe she should think about her words more carefully. She's not afraid of hurting others by calling them names, if it serves as a lesson or a purpose.

Nailah tries to keep mostly to those she knows well, but will be social if the need really arises watching Rafiel like a creeper 24/7 . Many have called her distant in the past, standing behind someone, watching, judging. She's also deeply serious when the need arises. When it is compared with her bluntness, it makes for quick combats and she pulls her punches (okay more like bites) in a very calculating and deadly way. Nailah is not afraid to strike first if she feels anyone she cares about is threatened. She is very alpha wolf this way. Once she is on to someone, however, her voice is loud, her tone, harsh. She is is demanding of others.

Amazingly, when she forms bonds, they are very strong. Back in her homeland, she did not care for the so-called social boundaries, being friends with both beorc, branded and lauguz alike. This makes her different from some of the other laguz kings. She cares about those she loves like a mother wolf. It's really a good think that Rafiel likes her so much, as Nailah's personality towards him borders the creepy and over-attentiveness (wolf moe). She she loves him, she really does, and is hell-bent and protecting him at all costs.

Backstory:
Once upon a time there was the kingdom of Hatari, located just farther away from desert of death (charming place, really). The unique location allowed her people to live relatively unknown and hidden away from most of continent of Tellius. Here, unlike everywhere else around the world, beorc (humanoids), laguz (the animal tribes) and the branded (half-breeds between the two) lived all together without pride and prejudice. Ruled by the Beast Clan of the Wolf, Nailah's father was the alpha male, and she was his only child by one of his concubines.

Raised a princess from a young age, Nailah grew up intelligent and wise beyond her years. Many would comment how she would just sit and watch affairs of the state before speaking her mind - and when she did, it was both harsh and truthful. Hatari prospered, and with her father's death, Nailah stepped up to rulership in a very short time, the support of the kingdom behind her. While she had already wondered what lied beyond the awful stretch of sand, no one had been able to cross the desert for centuries. So, she was content on being queen, patrolling the borders with her retainer, Volug and continuing the affairs of her kingdom until...

She found a heron in the desert. Nailah had heard of his kind, but no one had ever seen them, more like myths and legend and, truth be told, she was awe-struck by the man's beauty. Yeap, Rafiel worked his heron charm on her before he could even open his mouth. They carried the nearly dead man back to the city, where a team of healers nursed him back to health and probably kept gawking at him, gosh. Nailah, however, acted like a mother hen. She wanted to make sure he get the best treatment and would spend days just talking to him.

The Wolf Queen had a million questions, of course. The first being “who are you” and ”Can I have your phone number?” “where are you from?” After finding out that SHOCK! GASP! There were other lands beyond the desert, Nailah grew curious. Once Rafiel was strong enough, she asked him to lead her and Volug to the other side of the Grann Desert, so they could see it with their own eyes.

Of course Nailah was no fool. After talking to Rafiel, she realized that the other people weren't as open about branded and laguz as her kingdom was, therefore, the three of them waiting in a nearby ruins near the end of the desert for the perfect opportunity to present itself to them. She trusted Rafiel's words that if they lied in wait there, something would come their way. And what do you know, he was right. The Dawn Brigade, lead by a lady named Micaiah found them, lead by the Heron Prince's singing voice.

Hoping to catch the news of his family, they find out that Rafiel's siblings and father are still alive, and Rafiel, overjoyed, wished to join the Brigade. Nailah agrees, because, well Rafiel asked for it. Eventually they learn that Ike might be able to help the Heron his family, so after being with them for a time, they leave Volug with Micaiah to protect her while they peruse off in the hopes of finding this blue-haired swordsman.

A lot of things happen! Some guy named Oliver tries to molest Rafiel while Nailah makes this face a billion times!! They find Ike and join him Too bad he never went to SBG! Blood packs causes Micaiah to fight against Ike! (noooo) Rafeil tries to negotiate with her, unknowing she is doing this against her will! (baaaw) He decides to support her even if she won't tell why she's doing this, and Nailah also switches sides against Ike (uuuh what?). Just as they are about to do that however....all hell breaks loose.

Well more like the Fire Emblem is going wonky which causes all the heron siblings to fall to the ground while the goddess kept inside the medallion comes out forth to give judgment to all of the world. Some kid who is also am empress but she's only 12 years old really this game, comes to sing a ballade to keep her in there, it doesn't work, more stuff happens, WOE who can sing the Galdr of Release? Micaiah shows up and despite being from the waring nations, sings the song and everyone is all GASP SHOCK!

Except the judgment passed anyways and everyone is turned to stone. OH NOES. Micaiah is possessed and tells everyone to meet her on top of a tower so that the goddess can pass her judgment on them and Nailah is “WTF IF THIS SHIT, I'm gonna rip you a new one” (well alright, not like that, but she insists on help out) and she joins Ike once again. But there's good news! There's also another part of the goddess called Yune which was the more happy, nicer part that the goddess Ashra had separated from so that it could be kept safe. The mission is now for the both of them to be reformed together so that the goddess can be reborn and be less bitchy and not turn everyone to stone. Along the way, Rafiel talks with Ike a lot about his past, Nailah strikes amazing poses in the wind while he does and looks badass.

Eventually they win, and reborn goddess tells them the world has no need for gods and leaves, returning everyone to normal. Nailah bids her new-found comrades farewell, and returns to Hatari, with hopes of migrating the nation in her heart. Perhaps teach others the philosophy of the kingdom beyond the desert.

Now how would a piece of paper talking about a special school reach her hands? Magic perhaps, but it fueled and solidified her interest was when she heard that Rhys and Ulki were attending. There had to be a reason for them there, and she was going to find out. If Rafiel didn't want to come too bad she'd just drug him there, okay no., but the heron prince was more than happy to tag along, and here they are, with barely any knowledge about technology.

This was going to get interesting.

Anything Else?:
* Her skills allow her to switch between Wolf and Humanoid forms at will, unlike most laguz who can only hold it at a time.
* She seems to be almost surgically attached to the hip to Rafiel. Seriously. She redefines creeping, over-protective guardian.
* Super strength, super agile, super sharp teeth.
* She has a very powerful nose, and can smell things far away.
* Wolf form stands around 6 feet tall from leg to ear. She is huge.
* But she's also very fluffy!
* No seriously, don't touch Rafiel.

In-Character 1st person writing sample (journal):
I am...still unsure how this technology works. The headmaster mentioned techn-technology magic that makes my voice appear as words on this...screen correct?

[ERROR! Database indicates current spoken words are of an unknown language!]

Hmm...it would appear that the ancient language is not known here. Interesting. Perhaps I should speak with the headmaster about it. How will I be able to swear in ancient now.

You may all address me as Nailah. I am Queen of the desert land of Hatari. Remember my name well, as I shall be instructing you in training, or as it is called her, 'physical education'. I am a very harsh women, and I expect the best of you.

You may have also seen Rafiel around the campus. I will warn all of you know, the heron prince is under my protection. You do not wish to make an enemy of me. Rafiel, sweetie pie, please be home by 9pm, and drink all your fluids.

Ulki? Rhys? I have heard news of you here. I hope they were true, as seeing familiar faces here would be interesting. Rhys we can compare birds okay no.

Now, please introduce yourselves.

In-Character 3rd person writing post:

Her tail flickered in the air as Nailah sat down and waited for Rafiel to be done. She just hoped he would come out of the bathroom soon enough. You'd think herons wouldn't take this long, but even the most beautiful of men had to go, sometimes.

The smells of the school were so different from her hometown. The clicks of the heels of the students, and the shuffled books made her ears dart from one side to the other. But it was a certain group of humanoids that had particularly caught her attention.

Pokemon. What strange creatures. They were much like laguz, and yet so different. She wasn't sure what to make of them, really. Seeing them switch between both forms, a skill that was reserved only for the royalty in her homeland, made her wonder how powerful some of them might be. Nailah grinned, realizing what could be done to test them out. The battles here would be interesting.
