Sometimes I wonder if the English language even works the way I think it does. I don't even really KNOW half of the technical things that I just take for granted.

I wish that I were smarter.

And I wish that I understood a lot more than I really do.

Just the little incomprehensibilities our lives amount to.

Today was really, really awful. I do not believe that I carry the capacity within me to express this fact.

It only does more to heighten my already mounting sense of despair as to what I have accomplished...

I got wait-listed at UW. Ha! I'm really happy, because it means I have one less "thanks but no thanks" letter to write. Instead I can just check the box that says "I'm going somewhere else so don't bother," and proceed to never think about it again.
