Even though I haven't worn a Vroman's Bookstore apron in more than seven years, I still think of myself as an indie bookseller.  I can't help but make recommendations to fellow bookstore browsers (Jo Knowles, at least one copy of Pearl sold at Bear Pond Books recently as a result), I tend to re-alphabetize shelves as I shop, and I still read Shelf ( Read more... )

I just read an advance copy of Hound Dog True that I got through Amazon Vine. I didn't think I could ever love another middle grade novel as much as I loved A Crooked Kind of Perfect, but I was wrong. It rocks and you rock!

Crooked Perfect is one of my all-time favorite books. I can hardly wait to read Hound Dog True. So glad it's getting rave reviews.
