First, a post-surgery kiss fix-it, of sorts...:
Luke’s feeling slightly dizzy. He has only just managed to make himself break away from Reid and he still cannot stop panting. This is just all wrong - even if it doesn’t exactly feel like that for reasons he doesn’t want to examine too closely.
“Shh shh shh, okay, stop. Just let me.” Reid’s voice barely breaks through his fog.
“Look, we shouldn’t have done this. I shouldn’t have-“
And then he has the wind taken out of his sails mid-sentence, just like that.
