I can see Katie having a blast with this (and perhaps acting as co-conspirator). And how can we have a story where there isn't some making out? I'm glad you liked it.

I love the whole Reid as a romantic notion. I can see him being a complete asshat in front of everyone else, and surprising Luke with something sweet. I like to think he's more intuitive about what Luke needs than most people think.

Very funny and touching. I like how Luke can't resist Reid even when he's mad at him and that Reid's just so confident about Luke going to say yes.

"You didn't have to make the gesture of a noose." Such a great bit of characterization. I can picture Reid doing this.

Thanks. I don't know what it says when I see the prompt of marriage, and my first reaction is, "Gee, I can see Reid gesturing to a noose."

The entire story grew out of that thought.

Thank you. I have to say, I can't see Reid doing anything normal - including proposing.

The gesture of the noose -> causing Luke's "upset-ness" and triggering his angst again,his caring for the one he loves
Reid's reaction, and Katie!!!
