Awww, I can just see Reid being so angry over Benjamin getting suspended, but then sympathizing when he finds out what the fight was about (particularly out of Luke's earshot). And Luke would totally be the one to point out how much they love him.

Reid, always analyzing, and Luke having to bring him back to a personal level..Loved that Reid gave Benjamin sound advice in the end though. LOL

Great fic. Such great dads. Benjamin came across as a very realistic kid. Loved that he knew enough to accept his punishment and that he secretly looked forward to his dads kissing him goodnight.

I loooove all your LuRe as parents ficlets with Benjamin, but this one I really wanna draw hearts around! Very realistic, and I totally think that's exactly how they would handle it. ♥

Parenting at its best. Do what you know should be done, and then let the kid know how you really feel...Your grounded and next time aim for the nuts. hahah

Aw, I love their child coming to their defense! So sweet and I love Luke’s response, especially: “If you're gay or straight it will have nothing to do with the fact that you have two dads who love you very much. If you're happy, confident, a good person and the best Ben you can be, then hopefully that will have something to do with having two dads who love you. :)
