My alma mater is the real USC and our mascot is the Gamecock. We played the Troy Trojans one year, and people had signs that said "Your Trojans can't hold our Cocks." I was in the band and we had a "band cheer" that included "[name of opponent] can suck our Cocks." There has been a fic where Ethan's team was the gamecocks or they were playing the gamecocks (can't remmeber which) and it was pretty funny.
There can never be enough fics where Reid has fun with the name of a sports team though so thanks for this ficlet.
