Lucinda watched him with a smile on her face but her eyes carried a shrewd, almost calculated look. “I must say the second I saw it I thought of the two of you.”
Luke looked at her gift, not really sure what to say. “It’s...quite impressive, but Grandmother I really don’t think we can accept it.”
