A Celebration in Los Angeles - Part One

Luke was leaning against the bar grinning at the sight of his friend, Casey Hughes leading a Conga line around the chic LA club that was hosting the after-party for the premier of the movie he had written. He glanced around the room and noticed that his grandmother, Lucinda Walsh-Dixon was sitting at a corner table flirting with Ryan Gosling, one of the stars of the movie. Lucinda’s husband John appeared amused at the way she was making the movie star blush. His sisters were sitting at one of the tables laughing hysterically at something his cousin Jade was saying. There were other friends and family members in the crowd, as well. It made Luke happy to see how so many people that he loved gathered in one place enjoying themselves

I love FunFicFriday too. I love how many people participate and how differently we all can interpret the prompt. And drabbles are a nice way to encourage writers who might not have a lot of time to write.
