Trimming the TreeReid came home to find Luke stringing the last lights on the Christmas tree in their living room. Luke was bending over to wrap the lights on the lowest branches. He bounced in rhythm to Donny Hathaway’s “This Christmas.” Luke’s jeans pulled tight against his backside. His shirt rode up exposing more than a hint of pale flesh and the black elastic waistband of his underwear. Reid stood back a moment and enjoyed the view

The ornament is such a sweet touch. And LOLing at the angel Luke made in school.

Excellent fic. I like how Reid goes from being justifiable digruntled over the less than wonderful aspects of Christmas to just sliding into the sentiment when reminded by their shared ornament of the wonderful aspects of the holiday.

Reid has that snarky exterior, but he really is a sap at heart.
