Reid took a deep breath and tried to compose himself, his hands braced against customer service desk. He'd been away at the conference for five days now - five tortuously long days - and he was desperate to get back to Luke. Not to mention the fact that he was horny as hell.
Deciding to try another tack, he looked at the name badge of the idiot woman standing behind it, and plastered on his best fake smile. Maybe Luke's lessons in people skills might pay off after all.
"Listen, Dolores,"he began, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Help me out here. This flight has already been delayed three times, and I have a problem." Digging around in his pocket, Reid pulled out his wallet and flipped it open to show her the picture of Luke he always carried with him. "He's waiting for me at home. I haven't seen him for five days, and I'm sure you can appreciate what that must be like."
Dolores raised one perfectly manicured eyebrow and smirked at him.
"I'll see what I can do to get you rebooked on another flight, sir."
