Aww man, you just know this would've happened on the show eventually. Poor Luke, and poor Reid. I can totally see everything play out like it does in this fic, love your Reid's reactions.

And also the glimpses you give us into their lives, like this:

Reid choked out a laugh. "Every holiday is Luke's favorite holiday." It had gotten to the point where Luke would pout and call him Scrooge and sing songs from a Muppet's Christmas Carol of all things when Reid would try and be reasonable about holidays. One did not need as many decorations as Luke seemed to think.

I'm so glad you wrote this. My first thought at the prompt was a Luke kidnapping but I had no time to write this weekend. You did a fantastic job keeping it soap opera loony.

Poor Reid! He has to be trained to know how to handle these situations, which I'm more than sure will happen to poor Luke again in the future. Loved the Reid/Ethan moments.

Thank you. I was very proud of that line. And Reid does need some training. It's a rough life living in Oakhell if you're not prepared.
