Yay! Lucinda and Reid.

Reid didn’t but Lucinda was one of the few people in the burg he now called home that he could more than tolerate. She had a sharp wit, she adored Luke and the way she and Reid laughed together put a very sour look on Lily’s face.

I do love Lucinda. She's made of awesome and I could see her and Reid getting along swimmingly. Also, I adore that Reid's focus is Luke and food.

This is absolutely perfect! Love the way Reid genuinely likes Luke as well as love him. He sees Luke better than anyone else does and admires the heck out of him. Love the relationship that Lucinda has with the boys and that she doesn't feel any compunction about using their fondness for her to get them to escort her whenever she wants.

I always love Reid and Lucinda interaction. They have so much in common--extremely intelligent and driven, not prone to suffer fools, and most importantly, they admire and absolutely adore Luke.

“I love that guy,” Reid sighed aloud, staring at the object of his affection. He was mesmerized by how the light from the chandeliers was hitting Luke’s blond hair, literally making it glow. Reid’s hand itched to touch its sunny depths.

“Is that a statement or a confession,” Lucinda teased.
