It Takes One to Know One - PART I

“Hey, Luke, we have running water, right?” Reid asks as he leans against the island in the kitchen, a mug of coffee in his hand, and looks at Luke, who is rummaging through the pantry for a bagel.

“Yeah.”

“Okay, so then you can do the dishes?” Reid asks, looking over at the stack of dirty dishes that have been in the sink for two days straight.

Luke follows Reid’s gaze before he resumes his pantry search. “I’ll do them later after work.”

“Yeah?” Reid asks, wanting to believe Luke. Luke, like Reid, isn’t a fan of washing dishes. Unlike Reid, though, Luke tries to ignore the shared chore for as long as he can-or at least until Reid gets so annoyed by the dirty dishes that he’ll volunteer to wash them. That always earns Reid one hell of a smile from Luke. It’s almost worth washing them every day himself.

Great job! Love the domestic squabbling and how well they know one another. Very cute how easily Reid gets distracted by Luke being sexy. Or just being.
