This is so wonderful and sweet and timely. And OMG, In the Night Kitchen!!! Loved that book as a kid. RIP Maurice Sendak. ♥

Aww, so sweet! And I love how Reid kinda hates himself for having turned into such a sap, but then he can't help himself either. ;)

I adore that you used the death of Sendak to include him in a Luke/Reid story.

I've never missed an episode of Colbert :) I knew very little of Sendak before that Colbert interview. I just loved how cranky and curmudgeonly he was.

There was also a Fresh Air segment last week with selections from various interviews he had on the show. It was very emotional. Sendak really exposed himself. I highly recommend it.

Really wonderful!

I love the sheer AWKWARDNESS of Holden and Reid interacting. I also enjoyed the snark at Lily's business management skills.

Running the back of his hand across his nose, which in spite of his better nature Reid found completely adorable - another black mark in his book against Luke for which he would have to be even more thoroughly punished Great line. Love, love, love Reid being so disgruntled about the whole 'being in love' thing.

Luke is so very sweet. Lovely job tying in Maurice Sendak's recent passing with the prompt.
