Oh dear. Noah is so clueless. I don't mind the idea of Noah embarrassing himself in front of everyone, but poor Luke would be put in an awkward position.

I'd say "poor, delusional, Noah," but let's just leave out the "poor" part. No sympathy from me for that jerk. I hope Luke laughs his head off when Noah makes that stupid gesture. I imagine tears running down Luke's face from the hysterical guffawing and possibly a stomachache from not being able to stop himself.

At least Noah recognizes that Luke is beautiful. All these years, I had my doubts that he even had a clue.

I love this fic. Major props for Chris being dead, of course. It's great that you balance out the fact that Noah does actually want Luke back to with the fact that Noah doesn't 'get' Luke. Imaging everyone's faces when Noah makes his move is a hoot.

Luke was very predictable in his unwavering love. This is either very true or very sad. Or both.

I like how Noah is only considering what he wants. He never puts himself in Luke's place. For Noah, Luke's relevance is only in relationship to him. It seems very Noah.

Not on the lips, but on his forehead and then the tip of his ear. It was very intimate and therefore inappropriate.

i love "not a clue" Noah. he is narcissistic & he's only wanted Luke when it was convenient for him & didn't care about what Luke wanted or how Luke felt about something if it didn't jive with what he wanted or felt on a subject.
i too hope Luke laughed his head off at the dinner & so did Reid when Noah made his big cinematic declaration of "love" to Luke & hoped he'd go to LA with him.

love it that Chris died after Reid tried heroically to save him even though he's not a cardiologist but did it for Bob & Kim.

He had enlisted Lily’s help in this - tomorrow night she was throwing a good-bye party for him. Once everyone had finished dinner, Noah was going to stand up and tell Luke he still loved him and he forgave him for everything while he handed him a single, perfect red rose. Then he would kiss him - on the lips, that was important - in front of all their friends and Luke’s family.

Yeah, Noah, I really can't imagine how that could possibly go wrong or not result in you getting Luke back, heh. :D
