Very busy weekend, but this pic inspired a quick comment fic....

Luke walked into Noah’s hospital room as he had for the past two days. He took Noah’s hand and asked him to wake up. It was then Noah opened his eyes.

“Luke,” Noah said.

“Yes Noah, it’s me,” Luke replied happily.

“Luke, I can see you.”

“Seriously? You can see?”

“Yes, I can see you, I can see the table, I can see the door, I can see everything.”

“That’s great Noah, I’m so happy for you.”

“I didn’t think it would ever happen. This is so amazing.”

“Yes it is. Let me get Dr. Oliver for you.”

Luke floated out the door and down the corridor. He felt lighter than air. A weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He saw Reid coming. He took Reid’s face in his hands and planted a kiss on his lips. Reid responded and soon they were unbuttoning their shirts while continuing their kiss.

“I’m free,” he told Reid breathlessly. “Noah’s awake and can see.”Luke jumped at the sound of a snap by his head. He looked up to see Reid standing over him. He wasn’t

Poor Luke. All these burdens. I'm glad that, at least in his dreams, he experciences feeling free. He'll get there, he will!

Yes, Luke wanted his time with Reid first. Had I looked over the story much I think I would have omitted the "for you" part of that quote. Thanks for commenting.
